Wasps.
5th June 2023. They built a nest in the bird hide. I had to remove it but they rebuilt it the next day. This time I removed it leaving about a third of it in place which I sprayed with insecticide. I read that wasps will never rebuild in the same place in following years if some of an old nest is there.
